Information We Process

To provide our playlist conversion service, Spotifly accesses the following information:

  • Spotify Data: We access your Spotify playlists and track metadata (titles, artists, album names) to identify the music you wish to move.
  • YouTube/Google Data: We use Google OAuth to access your YouTube account. This is strictly used to search for music and create playlists on your behalf within the YouTube Music ecosystem.
  • Basic Profile Info: Your name and email address provided by Google during authentication are used only to identify your session during the active conversion process.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to facilitate the playlist conversion functionality. This includes searching for matches on YouTube and creating the destination playlist. We do not build user profiles, sell your data to third parties, or use it for advertising. All data processing happens in real-time.

No Persistent Storage & Data Retention

We take pride in our "zero-storage" philosophy. No personal user data is stored on our servers. Your playlist contents and authentication tokens are processed in real-time and are discarded immediately after the conversion process is complete or the session ends. We do not retain any long-term data.

Data Deletion & Revocation

Since we do not store your music data, there is no data to "delete" from our end. However, you can revoke Spotifly's access to your accounts at any time:

API Communications

To provide the service, we communicate directly with the YouTube and Spotify APIs. These communications are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.

Compliance & References

Spotifly uses YouTube API Services. By using our service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review these documents.
